Linen breathes better than almost anything else you can stitch, which is why it survives a Chennai summer when silk does not. It has structure without weight, it softens with every wash, and it looks expensive because it is.

Every piece here is an end-of-roll cut, measured to the centimetre, from ₹112.

What we stock

Pure linen — crisp, textured, wrinkles honestly. Shirts, straight kurtis, palazzos, co-ord sets.

Linen satin — linen base with a satin face. Softer fall and a subtle sheen; often dyeable.

Linen blends — less creasing, easier for everyday wear.

How much do you need?

Saree blouse 0.8–1.0 m · short kurti 1.5 m · knee-length kurti 1.6–2.0 m · palazzo 2.0–2.5 m · long kurta 2.25–2.5 m, at 44-inch width.

Pre-wash. Always.

Linen shrinks 3–5% on the first wash — more than most cottons. Wash, dry and press before you cut, or buy 10 cm extra. Cutting first is the mistake that ruins a linen kurti.

Wrinkling is not a fault in linen; it is the fabric. If that bothers you, choose linen satin or a blend.
