Buy a blouse piece of embroidery without buying the roll
Embroidered fabric is the most expensive thing in any fabric shop, and the hardest to buy in a small quantity. A 5-metre minimum on a ₹1,200-a-metre embroidered organza puts it out of reach for one garment.
Every piece here is a genuine end-of-roll cut — thread work, sequins, zari and mixed embroidery on organza, net, chinon, crepe, tissue, chanderi and silk. Measured, photographed, and priced at 50% of RIDH's shelf rate for the same fabric.
What embroidered offcuts are best for
The honest answer: panels, not whole garments. Embroidery is placed on a roll for a border or a repeat, so a short cut rarely gives you a full symmetrical garment. What it does give you:
- A statement blouse (0.8–1.0 m)
- Sleeves and a yoke on a plain kurta (0.5–0.7 m)
- A dupatta border or pallu panel
- Potli bag fronts, pouch panels, cushion fronts
One thing to check before you buy
If you need a motif centred on the front of a blouse, add 20 cm to whatever your tailor quotes. There is no room to shift the pattern on a short piece. Send us the design on WhatsApp +91 81244 40211 and we will tell you honestly whether the piece works.
Care
Dry clean only. Never iron directly over sequins, zari or thread work — press from the reverse with a cotton cloth in between.
