Woven zari on a silk or blended base — the most expensive fabric per metre in most Indian shops, and the hardest to justify buying by the roll for one garment.

These are genuine end-of-roll cuts from the Banaras weavers RIDH buys from. Measured, photographed, and priced at 50% of RIDH's shelf rate for the same fabric.

What a short cut is genuinely good for

• A statement blouse against a plain silk saree (0.8–1.0 m)
• Sleeves and a yoke on a plain kurta (0.5–0.7 m)
• A potli bag, clutch or pouch front (0.3 m)
• Festive toran, cushion fronts, gift pouches

For a full brocade lehenga skirt you need 3–4 m and a matched lot — that is a full-roll purchase, not a remnant one. We will tell you so rather than sell you a piece that will not work.

Care

Dry clean only. Iron on the reverse, low heat, never directly on the zari. Store wrapped in soft cotton or muslin, and refold along a different line every few months — zari splits along permanent creases.

One of each piece. Once it sells, we cannot reorder it.
